Veteran’s Day
Thank you for joining us today to honor and celebrate our Veterans. We had a great turnout for our program as well as lunch that followed. We had American Legion Post 586 present the colors and students shared information about Veteran’s Day and the five branches of our military while also singing patriotic songs. Thank you to those that sent in pictures of Veterans that are family members or friends. It was impactful to see the number of Veterans that have served and made a difference for our country as well as our students. Report Cards Today, November 11th, first quarter report cards are going home with your child. Grades K-6 at TCU have moved to standards-based report cards to show the progress of students in relation to the MN State Standards. Teachers and administration have collaborated to create common benchmarks and assessments to monitor and report the progress each student is making. After reading through your child’s report card, if you have questions please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher. Election Results Please dress in BLUE on Tuesday, November 15th. This is the color that won the popular vote in our school wide election this last week. We will be announcing the dates soon as to when we will be eating our favorite school lunch, Pizza, and playing our favorite PE activity, Floor Hockey.
