Winter Break is December 23-January 2. School resumes on Tuesday, January 3rd. Winter Concert...Holiday Traditions Students will have their Holiday Music Program on Tuesday, December 20th. There will be a 2:00 and a 6:30 performance. If you would like to take your child home early after the afternoon performance, there will be a sign-out sheet in each classroom. If someone besides a parent or guardian of your child would like to bring them home, please call or email Heather Lerfald in our office at 507-744-3900 or [email protected]. For our evening performance, doors will open 30 minutes prior to each performance. For the evening performance students can go to their classroom starting at 6:00 to prepare and family members can find a spot in the gym. Supervision for students does not begin prior to 6:00. If you will not be attending the evening performance because you experienced the afternoon one, please still drop your child off by 6:15. Then notify your child’s teacher prior to the concert day and we will bring them out to the front of the school at 7:15 for pick-up. Winter Concert Shuttle Service Available During school events we typically have overflow parking which can lead to some safety concerns. This year we will be providing a shuttle bus for the evening performance of our Winter Concert. If the elementary school parking lot is full, please proceed to the Lonsdale American Legion for the shuttle service. We encourage you not to park on the street for the evening performance. This is for safety concerns as there is limited lighting on County Road 4 in front of our school. We will be picking up at the Lonsdale American Legion located at 115 2nd Avenue NW beginning at 6:00 PM and continuing until 6:20 PM. The shuttle will then run again after the evening performance beginning again at 7:15 until 7:35 PM.
