Arbor Day Celebration
Next Friday, April 28th we will be partnering with the City of Lonsdale, DNR, and Rice Soil and Water Conservation District in providing a memorable, engaging learning experience and service project to celebrate Arbor Day. If the wet weather continues, you may want to send some boots and gardening gloves as they will be exploring our city parks and nature areas planting trees and picking up trash. We also need a few volunteers to help prepare seedling trees in the morning from 8:45-9:15. If you are available, please email Mr. Larson at [email protected]. MN Reading Corps Tutors needed We are excited to be the recipient of Reading Corps tutors for next school year 2017-18. MN Reading Corps provides reading interventions for our grades K-3 students who are needing extra assistance in mastering their foundational reading skills. If you are interested in this tutor position or would like to know more information about MN Reading Corps, here is a link to more information, www.MinnesotaReadingCorps.org. Great family fun is guaranteed plus you will be helping to enhance our educational opportunities for our students! See you there! Grandparents Day We will be honoring our grandparents on May 5th at Lonsdale Elementary. The students will be performing a music program for them starting at 2:00.
